At MU-WCOM, research isn't pursued solely for discovery's sake. It's about stimulating growth, promoting innovation, and most importantly, integrating student learning into the process. More than 70 percent of our publications feature student contributions. Our faculty are part of a collaborative ecosystem that’s committed to advancing their fields in tandem with enhancing the student research experience.
This early activity in research, in line with the university's evolved mission, is not confined to traditional boundaries. The spectrum of research at MU-WCOM encompasses not just basic science research, but also biomedical science, clinical research, the science of teaching and learning, and specific osteopathic medicine research.
MU-WCOM offers a diverse array of research pathways, much of which takes place in state-of-the-art research facilities, where the inclusion of students is not just an added benefit but the core objective.
