Title IX

Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK supports Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination based on gender in educational programs receiving federal financial assistance. Title IX also protects students and employees both male and female, from unlawful sexual harassment, (unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, nonverbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature). Sexual harassment also includes sexual violence (sexual assault, battery, or coercion; rape), in school programs and activities.

Individuals with questions or concerns regarding monitoring of compliance or those who wish to file a complaint of non-compliance may contact the university’s Title IX coordinator or deputy Title IX coordinator. Reporting forms are available here. Information about the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX compliance can be found at .
