Peer Tutoring and Group Learning are offered through the Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK Academic Commons. All services are included in tuition for all undergraduate students, including our MAP and ABSN programs.
The Academic Commons also hosts events to help build community among learners, including success seminars and open work sessions. Our mission is to provide you with space and place to access individualized resources to support your academic success.

Group Learning sessions are regularly scheduled, course-specific, led by a trained peer who supports students wanting to deepen their understanding of course content, practice strategies for exam preparation, and complete projects. Take the lead in your learning and attend a session!

Peer tutoring takes place in the Academic Commons on the first floor of Mother Theresa Hackelmeier Memorial Library.

Community Work Sessions are informal and unstructured group study time, intended to bring together students, peers, and faculty for scheduled side-by-side study or work time. These times aim to create intentional space and place to build learning communities among people in similar classes and majors to promote their own productivity, accountability, and academic success.
