Student Services
in the Office of Graduate Studies

The Division of Student Affairs provides services to the Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK community including Orientation, Housing and Residence Life, Student Organizations, Campus Safety and Police, Health and Wellness Programs, Campus Ministry, Internships and Career Services, and the Counseling and Consultation Services. Each area within Student Affairs provides something unique to the Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK student population; our goal is to provide services that help each student’s overall development.

Dining

Pod MarketThere are a variety of options for dining both on and around campus. Dining locations on campus include Barbara B. Cooling Dining Center in Clare Hall, Subway in the Ruth Lilly Student Center, and Provisions on Demand (POD) Market located in the Evans Center on the 1st Floor. Starbucks, Knight's Table, and Oath Piza are located in Alumni Hall. Meal plans and Knight Bucks for residential students can be purchased when students sign their housing contracts. Meal plans and Knight Bucks for students can be purchased at the ARAMARK Dining Services office in Clare Hall.

Housing

The university offers on-campus graduate apartments.  We also encourage students to share information with one another during our admitted student program and offer opportunities to connect with current student to ask questions.

Academic Support and Counseling Services

Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK offers many academic support and counseling services to aid your educational journey. Academic support services include peer tutoring, peer mentoring, stress management, study habit workshops, and more. Mental health counseling is also offered from a licensed psychologist.

Health Services

The Student Health Center is located on the first floor of Clare Hall. Appointments are encouraged and walk-ins are seen as the schedule permits. Health management for Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK students includes assessment, treatment, education, and referral to appropriate medical personnel.

Bookstore

The MU bookstore is located on the main level of the newly constructed Alumni Hall and provides a broad range of services to students. The bookstore is where you can purchase and return textbooks, purchase supplies and Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK apparel and gifts, and place orders for class rings and other commemorative items. You will also find a broad range of additional academic and reference resources available for purchase.

Campus Safety

The Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK Police provide 24-hour protection to the campus, including parking lots and residence halls.

Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK police officers are vested with full law enforcement powers and responsibilities. All officers that are employed by Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK are required to be certified graduates of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.

Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK Police are responsible for a full range of public safety services, including all safety escort services, investigations, medical emergencies, fire emergencies, traffic accidents, enforcement of laws regulating underage drinking, the use of controlled substances, and all other incidents requiring police assistance.

Campus police can be reached 24 hours a day at (317) 955-6789 or by using one of the many emergency stations located throughout campus.

IT Helpdesk

The helpdesk is located in Marian Hall room 302 and is staffed between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The after-hours helpdesk phone is staffed 24x7.

Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry serves the Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK community in the Catholic and Franciscan tradition by encouraging and promoting personal development, growth in the community, lived faith values, leadership, and service to the University and our world. In support of our Franciscan sponsorship values—Dignity of the Individual, Peace and Justice, Reconciliation, and Responsible Stewardship—the Office of Campus Ministry offers students many avenues for service and spiritual growth. In addition to providing opportunities for Catholic spiritual formation and liturgical involvement, campus ministers are committed to serving students of all traditions in their faith exploration.
