Specializations

As a School of Business student, you can add an academic specialization or a minor to your major field of study by using your electives to take courses in another discipline or focus area.

  • Since all business majors take a set of common core classes during the first two years of study, it is easy for you to change majors within the business school during this time.
  • Regardless of your major or whether you choose to pursue a minor or specialization, you will experience a high-impact, hands-on approach to learning about business that connects values, leadership, and professional development.

Our primary focus is preparing you to be an innovative, ethical business leader who can make a positive impact in whatever industry or area of business you choose to enter as well as in your workplace and home community.

Specializations Offered

The choices of minors and specializations available to you depend on whether you are a business major in the School of Business or whether you are majoring in another bachelor's degree program at the university.

You'll work closely with your academic advisor to select specializations that are a good fit for your career goals.
