Clinical simulation is an advanced and innovative teaching methodology used by cutting-edge schools to train healthcare professionals. Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK is committed to investing in quality programming to ensure our graduates are both competent and confident upon graduation.
Clinical simulation provides experiential learning in a safe and non-threatening environment. The clinical simulation center is able to regularly schedule scenarios that are important for content learning, but not abundant in a typical patient setting. Starting with basic healthcare concepts the center work closely with the College of Medicine and Leighton School of Nursing to build upon current knowledge and increase learning throughout the curriculums.
The term Clinical simulation can be used interchangeably with: healthcare simulation, simulation in healthcare, patient simulation, nursing simulation.
A center committed to advancing skills, critical thinking and professional knowledge. Preparing students to be diverse and confident leaders dedicated to ethical conduct and compassionate service.
