The Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK College of Arts and Sciences is the vibrant heart of a Catholic and Liberal Arts institution. Our programs encompass Theology, Philosophy, Mathematics, Sciences, Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. From the College of Arts and Sciences you will be prepared for meaningful careers immediately upon graduation, but also to attend the graduate or professional school of your choice. Most Marian students also earn at least one minor from the College of Arts and Sciences. A minor from our college helps students to be well-rounded leaders beyond their major discipline.
The College of Arts and Sciences is also home to many of our undergraduate initiatives including the St. Lukes Pre-Medicine Program and the St. Ives Pre-Law Program. Co-Curricular programs like our Speech & Debate team, Ethics Bowl, and Model UN empower our students to apply their academic experience in competitive spaces. Students participate in research experiences that generate new knowledge and lead to publications and presentations that advance understanding in their fields. Our graduates go on to some of the best medical, pharmacy, legal, and graduate programs and find employment from Eli Lilly to the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Most importantly, in the College of Arts and Sciences we have a dedicated faculty who care about each of our students as unique individuals. We take great pride and pleasure in knowing students by name and helping students pursue their passions both at Marian and beyond. Whether you know exactly what you want to do or need a place where you can explore potential careers to find your place, we are here to support you every step of the way.
